Replacement for the Jump Pack
#21
No to ph using it. Nobody really ever complains about it here. Don't fix it if it's not broken xD

That would be a better option, not everyone uses macros to exploit the jp for flight when it is only meant for reduced fall speed.

Please point out the players using macros/scripts with the jump pack and what specifically these macros/scripts do. I'm very curious and would like some insight from an expert such as yourself.

Changing the gravity wouldn't have the same effect because of the way the jumppack is coded. It would give you a similar initial boost, but the float from holding space would not be the same.

The fact is a lot of servers use the jumppack and leyhitreg and all these player models we have, and they do it without issue. The problem is we have a server that is like 5 years old or something and has never really been cleaned. There is so much junk from various plugins and addons that have come and gone. But all their data, metadata, sqlite, and mysql info is still in the server. Clearly we need a hard reset of the installation of the server. This is also obviously the problem, because when we installed all the exact workshop collection and addons from this server to a fresh test server everything worked great.

All these suggestions to remove or change things to fix hit reg and lag, are band aids that ignore the main problem. Although there is the additional problem of getting Dink to actually reinstall all this stuff.

Buy Dink that pony he never got as a child and perhaps he'll do what is needed.
