  [Discord] Rep Bot
Posted by: Jammin - 11-20-2022, 06:46 PM - Forum: News and Announcements - Replies (7)

Hello,
After many months of development, testing, and me not having time to add it, we have added a Reputation bot to the discord.

Credit goes to @GCubed (GCubed#4280 on discord) for creating and hosting the bot for us!

The bot will track how many individual messages by a certain user gets a +1 or a -1 as a reaction. It will then track the individual's reputation via this method.

This is not meant to be as serious as forum rep, so please don't treat it as such. It's meant to be a fun way to see discord engagement, with the recognition that unlike the forums, the discord is 97% shitposting.

Enjoy!

Bot commands:
!rep - view your reputation score
!rep <ID> - view someone else's reputation score (e.g. !rep 714501143379574794)
!leaderboard - view the top 10 reputation leaders!

  TTT Guidelines and Awarn Changes
Posted by: bryanbrr - 10-12-2022, 03:16 PM - Forum: News and Announcements - No Replies

Hello TTT community members,

Today we would like to announce some changes that will be occurring with our usage of the Awarn3 system and our TTT Staffing Guidelines. At our previous town hall, we mentioned the change in our TTT Guidelines to help improve overall staffing consistency within our TTT staff team. These changes included the usage of discretion at various rules and the addition of a point-based warning system across the board for how bans are issued. Awarn3 was updated and adjusted to reflect these changes and as such is now adjusted to this point-based system with preset warnings that will be used when rules are broken. These preset warnings do have an attached decay rate based on how many points were issued. Please view the warning decay rate below

2-point warnings - 1-month decay rate
4-point warnings - 3-month decay rate
6-8 point warnings - 6-month decay rate
10-point warnings - No expiration

To provide a quick synopsis of the threshold structure that will be used when enforcing bans, please see the below thresholds.

10 Active Warn Points - Day Ban
15 Active Warn Points - 3-Day Ban
20 Active Warn Points - 1-Week Ban
25 Active Warn Points - 2-Week Ban
30 Active Warn Points - Permanent Ban

If you do happen to achieve a permanent ban via point accumulation, there will be a 1 month wait period before you can appeal the ban.

To view the guidelines further to review how much each warning will be worth based on the points system, you may view the updated guidelines at the link below.
Dinklebergs TTT Staffing Guidelines

With the Awarn3 update occurring, we have decided to reset all player's warnings to ensure that each player starts at a 0 active warning point level.

As always, on our staff team, we want to ensure that our community is able to thrive and have fun at all costs. We appreciate all of our community members dearly and want to maintain the community we have! See you on the server.

  (TTT) Town Hall Event
Posted by: bryanbrr - 08-13-2022, 08:25 PM - Forum: News and Announcements - Replies (13)

Hello all,

Our Town Hall session will be hosted on Tuesday, August 16th at 7:00 pm (EST).

As it has been heavily requested, the TTT staff team will host another Town Hall. If you recall, back in June, we posted a survey to gather community feedback regarding many things such as rule revisions, staffing, and general server content. We have taken many pieces of feedback and would like to share some of the new things that will be implemented from the survey.

Some of the things we will discuss during this town hall will be: our updated staffing guidelines to reflect many changes requested by the community, our new and improved warning system, and the next TTT update that is scheduled for September.

As a preview before our time together, the admin team would like to share with you the updated revision of the guidelines that has many of the changes ready. Please take a look and leave feedback either here in this thread or save it our time together during the town hall.

Dinklebergs TTT Guidelines Revision

As always, thank you for being a part of the community and for making many great experiences for others.

We hope to see you there!
