I like your post, your drive, and your reasoning, however I’m going to be a -1 here after some deeper thought. I upvoted your post because I like so many of your ideas of how a developer discord should be run. You have some incredible ideas that would be AMAZING for the server and adding some more structure to the developer role. However- returning to a role after an absence and looking to jump directly to Lead Developer, completely changing the way things run on the server, and asking for co-owner isn’t a good look.
If we look at this from a professional, corporate standpoint- someone who resigns from a position, takes a leave of absence, isn’t going to come back directly to a promotion from a previous position. I would absolutely support an application for dev, reinstatement of your previous role, or a number of other moves. But I’m not willing to co-sign a promotion from resignation and inactivity.
I understand I’m just a regular user of this forum, this server, and I don’t know a lot of the things that happened in the years I was gone. Some people here know and love you, but I don’t know a thing about your staffing beyond the controversy mentioned earlier in this post. I hope to get to know you, and change this vote in the future.
