What can you do to help the community: I already know how to use Awarn and the RDM manager so I would be able to easily pick it up. With my (current) open availability I'd be able to quickly respond to help pings. I'm also already in staff chat so I would be able to instantly access the watch list and such. Plus previously being Deathrun staff I already have an idea of how to use the discord channels

Why you want to help the community: I'm already helping the community as a TTT DEV with new weapons and cosmetics but I want to do more for it. Because genuinely I don't have fun playing TTT as a gamemode anymore. When I join I only want the interactions, funny moments, and community. I'm not able to compete with the people who drive by bhop at 1000km/s, Too often I'm forced to wait around until I'm just walked up to and blasted by a shotgun or crossbow dropshot before being able to react. Then I end up getting slain for getting spooked and killing anyone who walks up to me with a shotgun or who holds their deagle out to me while standing still. I know people have done it to me on purpose too just so I kill them. I don't know how to play against my T-Buddies choosing not to fight their friends so in a 2v1 situation I'm the 1. I don't want to have to feel the pressure of having to actually compete in a round but I don't want to be hated just because I'm alt walking around spraying pictures of cats on the walls just having conversations. I want to still be able to provide something to the game in the form of handling reports and warns to keep the good times rolling. Without the stress of if I'm going to accidently kill a T-Buddy because he didn't tell me he muted my voice chat or the detective not mentioning they gave a freeze gun to a random person who I kill for having a t weapon.

seconding dalek, I think deer getting trusted is ok, its only trusted. plus, I think that since they are a dev, having some staff rank would be immensely helpful for them.

so im a little confused, how does having a staff role positively change your experience in the server?
you mention that you only want the interactions, funny moments, and community but becoming a staff member doesn't normally change any of that.
you will still have to play with the bhop sweatlords (which i do get how annoying it can be to play with those kinds of players) and people walking up and doming you. it sounds like there are staff on or you wouldnt be getting slain for rdm.
being staff wont make your t buddies start fighting their friends. you dont have to be staff to not feel the pressure to actually compete and can alt walk around doing sprays and have conversations.

How does being staff change this stressor? you are not allowed to handle your own reports as far as i know, so its just another cause and effect that you mention that doesnt really make too much sense to me.

I want to clarify my "why".

What I originally wrote in my "why" was just to give my view on why I don't enjoy the gameplay presented. I don't care how you play, I'm not trying to "regulate" anything either. I don't have "gripes" either with any people or the server. I've made many staff apps and I didn't really know what else to say for "why", it's always seemed I've had trouble on how to word it as every time I feel like I'm being put on trial just because of my illiteracy. So I just presented why I don't enjoy playing the game and why I feel more pressure in having to be a normal player Which yes I understand that you don't need staff to not be a "normal player", though I still feel pressured against doing nothing. I will feel like I shouldn't be there as if I am wasting a player slot. This is just an anxiety I'm unable to shake. Then giving my examples of what makes the game stressful to me yet still trying to show that I do enjoy this community and will still be here practically anytime. I never meant for it to feel like I was throwing shade or targeting a group of players. I'm sorry if it has.

Unrelated to developing and what I currently do for the community. I still want to strive for more, especially without a job at the moment I have more free time then I can waste. So I'll be on the server regardless most of the time. Plus when I staffed Mafia TTT I enjoyed doing reports, I find it therapeutic to do so. Staffing Gun Game and several Deathrun servers also wasn't ever stressful for me. I've handled the position easily in the past I don't see why it should be any different now.

So I want staff because I enjoy helping everyway I can. I care about keeping a enjoyable environment and I care about setting a good example for the future I wish to bring.

Why are you even applying this whole app just seems like you want access to staff chat I'm sorry to say this but just the why you want to help the community: makes me wonder with all this negative situations how it will be any different if you're staff lol, you get shit if you make a bad judgement or a good one depending on how the player views it which will probably affect you more than just getting 360 no scope headshot from a bhop god, you can always just do what you like with friends or whoever enjoys your shenanigans look at cloudy nobody hates on them for being goofy or doing the npc stuff. TLDR -1 staffing won't make you have fun.

well since apparently i cant out d33r for giving me fent. (WHICH HE THEY SHE DID)
I do not think that d33r is ready for Test mod Trusted i think that as a Dev they are decently productive aswell as a decent pickleball player.
HOWEVER from what i have seen they do not take the game very seriously and are very prone to outbursts / rdm. along with not being on frequently enough for me to change the opinion i have. In addition He is also prone to exploiting which while not a major issue is consistent enough where it may be a problem later on.
so overall 300/3000 shiny objects and a big fat -1 from me

I'm returning to the Stinkleberg community to weigh in on D33r's app.

I was a strong opponent of D33r's last staff app. There were quite a few issues that I had that prevented me from supporting D33r in any sort of staff ventures. Over time though, a lot of those issues ceased to be. I believe D33r has grown as a person, and combined with their overall experience with the server are more than capable of acting as Trusted.

As for the motivation, while others may disagree I totally get it. Sometimes I wasn't in the mood to play TTT, so often times I would just sit in spectator and do reports/warns from there. I think this is what you are getting at; a way to contribute and participate in the community aside from just playing the game. Makes complete sense to me, although others may disagree.

On a side note, after reading through the warn for teaming, I don't believe it should hold much weight in regards to the application. From what I've seen before my departure, D33r has been a good noodle aside from this one hiccup.

TLDR: Well-known in the community, knows their shit, and otherwise fit for trusted IMO. +1

ALSO, to those currently in charge of handling the application, it's been nearly three weeks since D33r has submitted the application. According to the community plan, general staff applications are only supposed to take a max of 2 weeks to fully go through. I understand if y'all are wanting to wait for the result of the warn appeal but y'all should at least say something in the thread saying so, instead of letting the application get buried in the depths of the forums.

We have decided to deny this application. While we do want to acknowledge that improvement has been made on past behaviors, we still feel that you haven't shown the right temperament for staff.

You have a tendency to overreact to criticism and respond immaturely to things, and parts of your application stood out as concerning. As others have noted, your motivations for staffing feel misplaced, and your aversion to responding in the thread doesn't lend well to staffing. While we don't expect you to be on a stage at all times, staff is a public facing role and you will be expected to handle public confrontation. Additionally, there was concern about you continuing to use a map exploit on skeld after having reported it.

With all of that said, I want to stress that you in no way need to justify your place on the server. Everyone is welcome regardless of skill level or playstyle so long as they are following the rules. Staffing out of obligation will only burn you out faster.
