Increasing The Cooldown
#1
The cooldown (the time before a map can possibly be selected for voting on again) is currently set to 5. A lot of the no-lifers on the server have been requesting the cooldown be bumped up a bit because the vote tends to cycle amongst the same few maps (Casino, Rooftops, 67thWay, Pool, Bowling). Cooldown is going to potentially be increased and we'd like your input on it! Please take this poll seriously and vote on what you think it should be increased to (if it should be increased at all!)

I believe we should have it start small first. I am for this idea because I bought it up about how I dislike the same map rotations over and over. It's like freaken playing 24/7 Minecraft and to me, that's the only maps I can handle 24/7 but other maps... nop. To me, it's like saying "what's the point of adding new maps if none of you wants to play it?" Like I've seen tons of you kept asking for new maps, yet you don't even play it. I don't even understand the point of it. At first, I suggest to go back to the old map rotation but rippe said to use cooldown instead so rippe did this suggestion.

I honestly would like to know those who vote no to know why you think this is a bad idea. Think about it.
If you never seen me before, then ignore me. Just focus on your job.
If you need to know why I'm here when I don't play the server, just ask.
If you want to know why Nicol is Nicole, then its because Nicole is secretly Nicol.

I wouldn't mind upping the rotation a bit. It would allow a little more variety in the maps played.
Noot Noot ~(^-^)~

Let's just go 24/7 Minecraft!!!1!11

I dont notice anything wrong with the map rotation. There is a reason why maps get chosen multiple times. They are good maps that play well and have a nice flow. Besides i dont even see any new maps in the rotation. Maybe if there was a larger selection of new maps in each vote they would get played more, but i only see the same maps in the vote screen.

There is a very large selection of maps in the voting screen.

And while the popular maps are chosen for good reason, there are still plenty of people who want some variety. Increasing the cool down to something like 8 maps who allow people playing for multiple hours to play on several different maps, but still give each player a solid chance of being able to play their favorite map.

Also adding to this, if more maps are played, people will become more familiar and start to enjoy other maps more.
It is not okay to literally tell people their opinions are wrong because they disagree.

Well we already have a ton of maps on the server. Amount isn't the problem right now.

Sorry @Drew  I ment that I was adding to your statement, I agree that we have enough maps.
