Howdy Dinklefam, as most of you all know I resigned from Discord Mod a few days ago because of the overwhelming toxicity, well that wasn’t really the only problem :/. This is not a resignation, this is me announcing that I am taking a break for a few. If for some reason I get demoted then so be it I guess, but it is what it is. 

The amount of hot toxic garbage that has dragged its way into this community since the whole Corona fiasco has been insane. It’s barely enjoyable to play anymore, and its honestly what you make of it. Also, another thing that’s been bugging me is that people think that they can shit on staff members with no repercussions, and also expect to not get snapped at. We are people too. We gain absolutely nothing for staffing, it is voluntary, unpaid, all in service to try to make this community a better place, yet a bunch of you shit on those people. Why? I’ve been staff twice in my 2 years and however many month tenure in this community, but the attitude towards staff right now  is by far the worst it’s ever been in my experience. 

But that’s just the community side as to why I’m leaving. I had a mental breakdown the other night and it really changed my perspective on a bunch of stuff. No, I’m not telling you to get sympathy, idrc if you care, but that’s the main reason I’m taking a break. Life > video games. 

I’m sorry if I came across as an asshole in this post, but those are my raw unfiltered feelings. Wishing you all the best until I think I’m ready to come back.
