To clarify my comments, I don't necessarily have all the context and If this guy was really just baited by his friend and got way too carried away, then maybe in some form of reduction might be in order. But I don't think I would ever support a return.

Posting a porn link is indeed a very stupid act; however, I feel that if even Jammin is saying that he doesn't have evidence sufficient to prove that he did this maliciously (I think all of us know how much time Jammin takes when he makes these posts, he's extremely thorough which I respect and appreciate), I do not feel as if keeping him permanently banned is ultimately the best idea or solution. As I had said previously, this individual does not have a bad track record, so I would like to give this individual a benefit of the doubt and chalk it up as an act of extreme ignorance. I could bet that if this player was unbanned, they would not make this mistake twice. 


+1 for a reduction to within a range of 1/1/22 to 4/1/22. I personally believe that anything longer than a 5-month ban time is over-the-top, albeit I understand and respect the "no tolerance" policy we have towards posting porn links on server. We have unbanned people from the discord who have done similar things (posting porn) in shorter time lengths.

Not finding any viable reason for why posting such a link would be allowed. I can understand posting external links as a joke to show off a funny shitpost or something but not a porn link. Being baited or not, common sense should have been used here but it wasn't. You can't just get a slap on the wrist for something like this.

We have a no nonsense policy towards this sort of thing.I do not think you should be unbanned. My personal opinion is that a new years unban could be on the cards for 2023 or 2024 but for now: Probably not aye bruv

I will repeat what I previously had mentioned in the discord regarding this.

While this is certainly something that it not okay in any way, I think an important question to ask is if this was done with malicious intent, which I do not believe it was. I think it is a case of getting caught up in the moment and thinking that you were doing something funny that is typically accepted in other servers and other games (we've all played TF2 and stuff, we know what people post).

Yet, at the same time it is important to display a message that this is not something we support in the community.

Overall I think it should be a reduction to a 1-3 month ban.
