Hey everyone! We are reviving monthly announcements so we can keep the community informed on current changes, future updates, and recent occurrences regarding the PH server.
Staff Changes:
We have a new PH admin team consisting of Ryzif, UnfortunatePossum, and chelllman. The acceptance announcement can be found here: https://www.dinklebergsgmod.com/site/showthread.php?tid=16836
Recently, we have had several veteran staff members resign:
Resigned Admins: TheUltraFish, PixieSoldier
Resigned Moderators: Travis, Triangle, Lt. Star
Resigned Test Mods: Agent Barton, Wilfry
Resigned Trusted: augmENTreality2
We thank them for their service to this community, and we wish them the best in their future endeavors. Although we have lost some great staff members, the current staff team will continue to move forward and strive to bring forth a safe and fun server to play on.
Server Updates:
During August 2022, we will be introducing player model and map suggestion threads which will include polls about existing player models and maps. As many of you know, it can take quite a while to get content updates on the server, so it is imperative that we begin this process as soon as possible. We will provide multiple reminders about these suggestion threads/polls throughout August; make sure your voice is heard!
Additionally, we will be looking into the creation of more seasonal/special crates. Hopefully, we will be able to include more seasonal content to help improve the player experience.
Player Model Removals:
The Trollface player model has been removed from the shop due to it being compromised in the Steam workshop. It appears as an ERROR on the server and we will be cleaning if off the server in due time.
The following skins will be fully removed from the server soon: Coconut, Creeper Girl, Ethel, Fox Girl, Cirno
Anyone wishing for reimbursement for these models can reply to the following thread with their steam32ID: https://www.dinklebergsgmod.com/site/sho...?tid=16382
The reimbursement thread will close September 30th.
Content Creation:
Chelllman is working on creating several new pets and is working on editing some of the maps. The pets may be added during the next content update, but the map edits may not see server play until the next content push.
The admin team has been brainstorming ideas for the server that we think both new and regular players will enjoy. For now, we will gradually be rolling out changes.
