The remnants of my dead corpse has been revived to give my unsolicited opinion to the masses.

I had this conversation with Tdawg the other day when I was giving 'constructive' criticism in DMs. I think the rules of the server are well defined, but sometimes conflict with the spirit of the game.

Sometimes just using your brain can help you find the t. I don't think making intelligent deductions should be punished as harshly when they are correct. Of course, if the wrong deduction is made, and an inno is killed, then absolutely slays should be applied. But I think the occasional corner case should be handled carefully, and staff should only issue slays when clearly faulty logic was used.
If an innocent can clearly and articulately explain how they ascertained the person to be a traitor in the RDM report, I see zero reason for any slay to be issued. This probably shouldn't be in the motd, this would fall under staff discretion. But I think it's okay to sometimes let the corner cases go.
Using your brain shouldn't be against the rules. Hell, if more than 2% of the community used it on these forums, this would be a much better place.


Also please fix the spring mine so that t's can see it. I'm not sure if I'm the only one who has that glitch, but it's annoying.
