What do you plan to do as a web staff member?: I plan on helping out the web admin and other web staff on situations like closing threads and/or telling people to calm down when they aren't available to do so, since I am pretty much online all day everyday. I also plan on helping out when stuff needs to get deleted/moved like a staff application in the ban requests or a serious donor abuse thread in the guides section. I will do my best to help out the team as much as I can, and I am online all day like I said so that'll be pretty often if someone else doesn't step in to help before I do.

What made you decide to apply?: rand said to , and I do want to help out with the forums even if they are a little dead.

Do you meet the minimum age requirement(18+)?: Yessir

What do you plan to do as a web staff member?: Simply put, keeping the peace is my main objective. One of the things I would like done differently is to not let the community dogpile on someone even when they've been a complete idiot (see SkullFire). Even if someone does something stupid, it doesnt mean that we should stoop down to a lower level.

Other than that, I have huge familiarity with managing Xenforo and MyBB forums, as well as base understandings of html, css, and php. I dont plan on anything drastic, mainly just keeping things running.

What made you decide to apply?: I've been bugging Ryan to open these apps for months, and while Im not able to be as active in game, I am mostly always available for the forums should the need arise.

Anything else you would like to add?: I know I have been pretty inactive on the server and in discord as of late. I have been trying and failing a cert test, that I will hopefully pass in a few weeks. Even until then, I am normally on my laptop for work or study, so Id be free to help here when it is needed.

What do you plan to do as a web staff member?: I plan to first and foremost keep the website’s peace, whether that means booting bot posters or helping solve issues between community members. I also heavily agree with Bunniey that rep should exist everywhere on the forums. If we have an active and consistent web team we won’t have to worry much about rep abuse :)

What made you decide to apply?: I really enjoy this community, and I check the forums daily anyways (usually more than once a day). Why not continue to contribute to make this community stay great? Seems like a no-brainer to me.

Anything else you would like to add?: I’m still staff on the seriousgmod forums (this tenure since spring 2021 before they closed) if you need validation that I have experience. Since the servers are dead the bulk of my work has been notifying forum admins when a bot posts but I have what it takes to do more.

What do you plan to do as a web staff member?: I promise to look at each and every post, all twelve of them that are made within any given week, and tend to them all fairly. I'd say my voice of reason history during all the previous bouts of drama in the Lord's year of 2024 speak for themselves, despite my apparent inactivity more recently. I've been paying a lot more attention lately...there's just not much to pay attention to. I am mid-crash out rn but wanted to get the thing up...so...give it two weeks I'll be better soon.

What made you decide to apply?: I have been waiting for them to be open since basically all the staff team quit a month after they closed last time smh, this is the role I was made for. Plus, I only just thought of this this isn't a reason, but you can't look me in the eyes and say it wouldn't at least be a little funny if I, after all the matt + other forum shenanigans, were forum staff. Just a little funny.

Anything else you would like to add?: Please ignore my current discord duties in this, this is /actually/ the role I've wanted, I just wasn't at a the place I needed to be in in regards to how people perceived me last time the stuff was open. But I will also immediately move for making rep a thing everywhere again, even if I have to bribe my way there. It's the life and blood of the community, god dammit. Fuckin librals takin away my internet points, yall ought to be ashamed.

I will also make an alarm for me to check the forums every day so I don't forget. This is important to mention because I do, in fact, forget this community exists at least once a week for at least a day because my brain is filled to the brim with the five thousand things I need to get done the next day I'm working. What do you plan to do as a Web Admin?: I think one of the biggest things I bring to the table currently as a Web Mod is the ability and initiative to make changes/improvements to the forums. As Web Admin, I would continue this and potentially be able to take it a step further with enhanced access to forum plugins and settings. I'd like to find and address more pain points in the forum user experience, as well as gather feedback for desired features and quality of life improvements.

Of course I would also lend a hand with general maintenance, overseeing Web Mods, mediating forum drama, etc. etc. etc.

How can you help the community beyond Forums as an Admin?: First and foremost I would help with discussing and making decisions about broader community affairs (admin applications, general community improvements, all that fun stuff). I'm impartial, level-headed, and generally just care about people's well-being and the betterment of the community, all of which I hope make me someone community members would trust to help run things.

I've also helped with development for both the TTT server and the forums at this point, and would be happy to assist in other areas of the community if the need arises. This wouldn't necessarily just be coding stuff (though I do like that), but things like working with server admins to better leverage the forums for their respective gamemodes (e.g. temporary sub-forums for special events, server-specific roles, whatever else the admins can think of). I know Discord is all that these days, but the forum is still a widely used space and could likely be enhanced even further to enrich the community.

What made you decide to apply?: I've had the thought that I'd like to help in this capacity for a while. At this point I don't necessarily have the time to commit to actively moderating a server, but I am routinely active on the forums and somewhat so on Discord, and could dedicate the time to the things I've mentioned above. Gabe does a phenomenal job, and I think he could use an extra pair of hands to specialize in the maintenance/improvement and help bear the load of the day-to-day. As shown in the last couple weeks things can get a bit hectic.

Anything else you would like to add?: soo... let's talk about activity. It won't surprise anyone to hear I haven't been as active in the community at large as I once was, in particular before pretty recently. Since my resignation from TTT Mod I've been making an effort to be more involved on the forums and Discords, and with backend work for TTT and the forums. Time spent debugging addons and deleting shitposts probably doesn't count much in the way of community presence, but I do dedicate a reasonable amount of time to it, and would continue to as an Admin.

I hope my history as TTT Mod and time with the community will have shed light on my character, and that my work on the server and the forums will speak to my technical ability, but I recognize that community members want to see and know their Admins. If the recent activity is a concern for you, definitely say so. Obviously if you have other concerns mention those too

For transparency, I'm applying with the consent and at the suggestion of @Gabe, and want to gauge if you all would be interested or opposed to me entering this role. If the consensus is a no, I'll spend some more time solidifying my presence and maybe we can revisit in the future. What do you plan to do as a web staff member?: I plan to keep a fairly active and attentive eye on the forums, both in regards to overall threads as well as the status of the forums. Similarly, I would work to keep the forums a place where people can post a wide variety of content while still making sure that the matters that rely on serious discourse to flourish. While the forums has fun with its shitposting and memes (Which I love), there is room for serious discussion and I would love to be able to help facilitate that and keep the balance. Overall, I would do whatever I can.

What made you decide to apply?: I do not actively play any of the Dinks Games atm and instead lurk the discord and the forums and I wholly love the community. I want to be able to assist in anyway I can and this seems like a great opportunity.

I would monitor the forums to ensure each post, thread, and profile is per the forum's guidelines. I'm incredibly active on the forums, to the point where I'm on pretty much every single day, multiple times. I just love to check out every single post everyone has made recently.

That said, I would ensure that people aren't spamming, also that each post is in the correct section. I would also make sure that nobody harasses fellow community members, and that there is no inappropriate content being posted, no alts being used, and of course, no old threads (>1 month) that are being brought back up. Honestly, I'd just be upholding what's stated in the forum's rules.

What made you decide to apply?:
Well, I'm a staff member on the TTT server who's wanted to branch out, so why not apply for web staff too? I truly enjoy this community and want to ensure it stays a fun yet harmless and non-toxic place for every member. I genuinely love getting the opportunity to help in all parts of this amazing community as I've spent a lot of time being involved in it. I am also absolutely far from lazy, I've given out 70+ TTT warns in the past 6ish months that I've been a part of the team, which should help back that up lol.

I really wouldn't mind helping out even more being web staff to ensure this community thrives in being a fun yet harmless place for people to post various things in their respective sections (i.e. ban requests, staff applications, Introductions, etc...etc.)

Monitor posts to ensure each post, thread, and profile is in accordance to the Forum Rules. I'm on the forums pretty much everyday multiple times and check out every post made. With that being said, I would ensure that people aren't spamming, making sure people are posting in the correct section, making sure people aren't harassing other people, making sure no inappropriate content is posted, ensuring no alts are being used, and old threads (>1 month) from being brought back up. So pretty much exactly what's stated in the forum rules.

What made you decide to apply?:
I staff on the Prop Hunt server as a T-Mod and Discord as a Helper, so why not apply for web staff too.
