I will not leave my opinion here yet however this is proof that Kessler did infact ask for the ban.

Please do not set the precedent that this is something that can happen. In this specific instance however, since Kessler asked for the ban, I will ok it. We have a guideline we must follow to make things fair for all individuals. Friends or not we must always submit appeals and they must be decided upon from all admins before being accepted or denied, but I digress.
