Reason for Admins to Unban: Multiple days before I was banned someone asked for a site to compress videos, I jokingly said Xvideos and received a warn, another player listed a different porn site and didn't receive so much as an admonishment. Almost a FULL WEEK after this, KaptainLes randomly permabans in the middle of a round for no apparent reason. Can't see any reason I should get a perma almost a week after the original warn while another player does the same exact thing isn't even given a warn.

I added a .com at the end, sure that makes sense for the warn, but why the perma almost a week later? Les has been on multiple times after the incident but today he just felt in the mood?

Also probably shouldn’t lie in your appeal. Someone just told me you did this 2 days ago. It wasn’t almost a full week. Also you kept talking about “Garfield cum” as soon as I joined you today lol. -1

I was the one that issued the warn for you posting a porn link. Personally, I don't think it should be a perma ban. I do think a small ban would suffice. Regardless of if another player got away with it, it should be common sense not to post porn links in the server. Also, I warned you on the 18th to not post porn links in chat. +1 for reduction, not immediate unban.

Nah the link was posted in chat between 10-11pm of the 18th. Just slightly before it turned to the 19th. Today is the 20th. The reason why it took so long is because I was told that someone was going to make this ban request about the link. They've been busy so I put the information together and threw it on the other one that was created. Don't lie about details my dude.



 

Wouldn't call it a lie so much as I genuinely believed it was last weekend as I was on then too. Obviously a mistake but I find it a bit wild a .com changes it from a joke to a bannable offense but oh well ¯\_( ツ )_/¯

i also agree with icey. i genuinely dont think posting ".com" at the end of something like that should be a perma, especially when another staff member issued a warn and considered it dealt with days before. its not like it can be clicked on in game and there is no embed in gmod.
