The Thriller is just a lot better weapon overall than the Dance gun. It makes a distinct noise when it's shot and the bullet has a tracer on it so it's not to hard to figure who shot.

Yeah the tracer effect will be nice to have (and a better song too) but it will have the same exact bugs as the dance gun (considering using the thriller on another server before it had the same bugs).
