Not because they have the same name, but because they are variants of the same map.

We used to have Magma_v2a and Magma_v2b on the server. We removed one of them (v2a) because we don't want almost identical maps on the server at the same time. Same thing with Community Bowling vs Christmas Bowling, or 67thWay_v3 vs  67thWay_v6 vs  67thWay_v14.

I would enjoy having them both, but I can see why there shouldn't be two of the same map. I think if the minecraft one fixes bugs the original map has, it should replace the one we have in the current rotation. Despite the fact that we already have other minecraft maps, it would be more beneficial imo

Yes and no. For the purposes of this server, it is being treated this way.

I agree with @Mr_Rippe on this one. People would probly just play one or the other... Only 1 67th way should exist on sever.

The other thing to take into account is map voting; we can't configure it to exclude a map if another has been selected. To avoid back-to-back Magma or Bowling, we purged all but one.
