God Eater is one of my personal favorites and the first anime I ever watched. A few others are Akame Ga kill which is also really good and Death Parade.

My friend wont stop talking about Naruto but a non-anime show i'm rly into rn is Better Call Saul (AFTER watching Breaking Bad ofc)

On going right now that I love, Vinland Saga. Viking Anime. hell, you can youtube it and it's amazing. also a lot of the other recommendations in this list are great.
