I've gotten two people now (dotlotion and someone else, forget who) asking me to put in an unban request for them on the forums. I do not want to do their dirty work for them, so I was wondering if there was a place for them to do it themselves. As to why they asked me specifically, I have no clue, but I would like to be able to tell people exactly where to go fuck off to in the future.
Well if I'm not mistaken, I believe Dotlotion was banned from forums(I could be wrong) so he maybe asking how he could unban without access to forums?
Yea are you specifically asking for a person that is forum banned? Cause I don't know what they could do.
I would imagine if they are forum banned they would need to contact the Admin directly to be temp unbanned to make the appeal. Just a guess tho.
The title says "banned from the forums" so yes, it is for the forums
They would have to probably contact one of the admins from discord or from steam. Discord is probably best for me if it is to get in contact for PH purposes, while contacting an active admin would be best for TTT. The admins would then probably discuss each individual separately in the staff discord to see that if there is even a good reason to unban them from the forums.
I know that Dot Lotion was basically banned from everything for the most part, Dinkleberg's discord, forums, and at least PH servers if not the TTT server as well back during Prince's time as admin. The other, I obviously do not know since there is not a name involved.
Question is, how would they contact someone they can't find? If they're banned from forums, discord, and servers, they'd have no way of knowing who to contact. Best way would be for the proxy person to give them contact info?
They can be temp unbanned from forums with restrictions to submit a community ban appeal from the server it originated in, PH.
