The weird personalities and constant drama are the ultimate reason why most people leave or don't interact on discord; I know in my own case that's one of the major reasons I stopped playing. Don't get me wrong, I'd never consider myself friends with him because in the past I have found him to be divisive and rude to people I consider to be friends, but that stuff was... too long ago for me to remember. I don't particularly like him, but I don't care enough to waste my energy being angry with someone I'll never meet. Although I understand the sentiment of "oh wow, he's always going to be a jerk and has proven it over and over again," I don't understand how unbanning him with a tight leash isn't a fair outcome; especially if people cannot find the reasoning for why he was banned (Ryan gave the last warn), why is there such a resistance to the tight chain approach? It's worked for others in the past because even if they mess up, boom they're gone again. Perhaps if people made strives to be more forgiving and not on holding unhealthy ONLINE grudges, we'd have a lot less issues with community engagement amongst ourselves. RE: caribou release - cherry (2) - 07-03-2025 i wasn't going to say anything because the last time i was playing more regularly, i was being told of rumors going around between caribou and i which pushed me to ultimately stop playing from the negative bias i was getting due to that (and me calling people cr*ckers w/e idc). this is coming from a neutral standpoint as i don't talk to caribou let alone have him added on anything. looking at the reason that got his warn threshold pushed to a permaban looks so insanely weak. the staff that had mishandled the slay/mass rdm apologized, caribou ignored him (i would've too), then that staff says something snarky after fixing their mistake? that's obnoxious. also the response looks pretty tame. if there isn't anything more than whats been shown, this just looks like a lame excuse to push for a "pest" to finally be booted by staff. it doesn't even seem like caribou wants to interact with anyone other than his friends anyways which i can understand. it'd probably be the best for him and everyone else anyways. you could make the argument that if he wants to just play with his friends, they can play other games or on a different server, but it looks like his friends just simply enjoy this specific server over others. they probably do play different games together, but ultimately who wants to feel left out while their friends are having fun? i think it's pretty ridiculous to continuously allow him to make ban appeals if they're just going to be denied anyways. i feel like this appeal should just be accepted and the warn points be removed. if he proves that he won't stop being toxic, just simply add the warn points and permaban again with no chance of appeal for a certain amount of time, or don't. just don't have it out for him with such a lame excuse for a warn/ban.

Plus didn't know harassment is a "weak sauce", if he was as willing to growth as other people pointed out he wouldn't have re occurred in the same behavior twice, it's gotten to the point where those who have had bad experiences with him don't want him unbanned again ^2 RE: caribou release - PandaInPants - 07-03-2025 (07-03-2025, 01:02 PM)Ryan Wrote: I’m the one that issued the warn, and after searching through discord and my recordings, I can’t for the life of me figure out what I was thinking with this. Loooots of just things entirely not about the appeal happening, some shitposting, some insults. If the warning that he got banned for had fucking more substance other then asab then the ban would be valid but this is just..... it just seems like a circus at that point. Also how the fuck is this appeal still up its already at almost 10 pages with ryan already saying he wasnt sure what he was thinking with the warning that got him banned lol.(07-03-2025, 04:39 PM)HONG Wrote:?
