I really tried to ignore a lot of this in hopes that they would get bored and leave. I also apologize for losing my cool and/or feeding the trolls.

So I had to think about the bans for these ones cause there was things that probably wouldn't have even happened had conversations with the trolls hadn't even happened. The best thing you can do with people like that is say little to nothing. Simple explanation of the rules and a simple reason as to why they got banned, nothing else. There was feeding of the trolls that happened as you did point out. I know it can be hard to follow the advice that I stated above but it does lead to better punishments if they do it all themselves rather then being fed.
