I'm so sorry this happened to you. Deadnaming is so incredibly disrespectful and shouldn't be tolerated. I hope the issue is resolved and won't happen again <3

I googled it earlier because I also didn't know; it's calling a transgender by their original name rather than what they prefer

I have no clue as to why that is referred to as deadnaming but alright. I can see how that can be disrespectful though in a way.

A lot of gender confused people have emotional trauma tied to their birth name. It can be very damaging and disrespectful. Even more disrespectful when no apology is given
