Warn Appeal - Love4puppys - 05-12-2025

Ingame Name: Love4puppys

SteamID: STEAM_0:0:42788940

Who Warned You: BGgamez YT

Reason For Warn: "Racism/Sexism/Derogatory Language/Slurs"

Applying for Removal or Expiry: I would appreciate a removal

Reason for Admins to Remove/Expire: I'm requesting a removal because the comment was posted by mistake after I sent it to staff privately. I will pay more attention in the future.

What other active warns do you have, if any?: None

Other:

So we were playing on ttt_cruise and someone was getting slayed a couple times so they made a bunch of comments including one with a slur and left with a slay remaining. I commented about it on mic to @PsychoMike2000 and said his name while trying to get his attention but he was afk. At round start I heard him speak and copied the message and pmed it to him and told him to scroll up in the chat and he did his thing.
A couple maps later on minecraftB5 I think someone asked which t buddy they killed or something like that, so I pulled up the logs and copied the line, but that action didn't actually work which I wasn't aware of. With the logs still up I CTRL+V'd in chat and pressed enter, the last thing I had copied being the comment from the other person that I had sent to PsychoMike.

I do want say that I am sorry for not paying attention and reposting the comment, at the time it happened I barely said anything because honestly it really shocked me. People were joking and what not but I really did not find it funny at all. I also want to reiterate that I did not bind or save this comment as some people thought it may have been an old bind I forgot about, I have never had a bind like that. I'm requesting removal as the comment was reposted inadvertently by myself after copying someone's else comment and forwarding it to staff. It was 100% my fault that the comment was reposted, regardless of how it was reposted, but those were absolutely not my words.

+1, it was a funny mistake, but a mistake after all, no ill intent behind

RE: Warn Appeal - Damien1579 - 05-12-2025

I mean... you did do the thing, even if accidentally. I'm mostly neutral to getting the warn removed but leaning towards a -1 because it's not like a slur wasn't in the chat at all.

RE: Warn Appeal - Market Down - 05-12-2025

+1 because your report is what got the guy warned. You’ve never had any issues like this before and I don’t expect another. Was wondering when this appeal would come in.

RE: Warn Appeal - Dildo Shwaggins - 05-12-2025

+1, seems like an honest mistake that a verbal warning could be enough for. Depending on how severe it was, maybe a 2 point warn at most. Shouldn't be punished the same as if done on purpose for sure

RE: Warn Appeal - Virunas - 05-12-2025

Easy +1, it was clearly unintentional, like you meant to copy something else and paste it. I'm glad you decided to appeal.

Staff guidelines say discretion is not allowed when they actually say a slur, so the full 6 point warning was necessary.

+1 trying to do a good deed and having a whoopsie shouldn’t be a full punishment, but I see why staff acted how they did. Annoying how the server has to make the rules strict because of Neanderthals

Ah I can see how that could be seen as criticism of how staff acted at the time, they did act properly- to clarify, I meant it in regards to the appeal, since the admins will have say and all

RE: Warn Appeal - TDawg4 - 05-12-2025

Warn has been removed.

Genuine mistake following helping the staff team.
