Yes, we do need it in the proper format. Information like steamid and such is valuable so we can ensure we punish the right person for the rules that were broken. Without a steam id we can't really do anything.
Also, when you are trying to reach staff using discord, for prop hunt use '@PH on-call staff' so it pings us

The way that I can find the player id is if I open the console and when that log out the steam id is next to their name
