Knife in Clue map - [test] Tyrant - 06-16-2019
I thought at one point this prop was illegal. Ive been seeing it used a lot more often and personally think it blends in wayyyy too well in any dark areas. Would like others opinions on this.
Some areas even are plain as day but still cant see it.

Only a certain spot is illegal with the knife. With a flashlight the knife + shadows are easy to find. Personally though if we just remove clue problems solved. I mean it crashes the server anytime the cap is over 25.

It was illegal for a time because it would bug out making it completely invisible, then we updated the prop hunt gamemode itself which fixes the knife thus making it legal again

It was illegal because people were using prop menu and such to make it clip into objects and walls making it nearly invisible. That was fixed with the update. I have no issues seeing it but I can see why others might.

If you use the flashlight, you can tell where the knife is most of the time. Other props like the wrench also blend in quite well in several areas on the map.

Ok so to be clear the knife is now LEGAL with limitations? Happy day. Does the same go for market battle?

Yes, it was removed off the list for both maps.

The knife should stay, like fish said the wrench is also hard to see in various maps, and the knife is no different.
