I apologize in advance if this is super long and all, but I just need to let out some thoughts about my whole situation last year. Firstly, I wont say the name of the victim of my harassment and overall weird as fuck behavior (I dont know if they are active in this community anymore) but I cannot express how sorry I am for the way I acted. I tried blaming everything I ever said or felt about them. I am truly grateful that me and her are on better terms now and that she was somehow able to even talk with me and let somewhat accept my apology. It took me months to face her and say how shitty I was. I am embarrassed and dissapointed in myself for being scared to apologize and take accountability for my actions and words. I knew there was no point in making a ban request or anything around that time despite the 1 year minimum appeal time. I knew in my heart I was guily of everything and I knew I deserved to be rightfully punished. Yet I embellished stuff she said to me to make myself look better to my friends in this server, for fear of losing them. I tried taking accountability but every single time I'd say how sorry I was, I shifted the blame onto her for something. Even though it never was her fault. And I agree with that whole group unfriending me.

I was so desperate for attention and people to like me. Or in the case of her, love me. I had so many personal issues going on in my life and I never once accepted her advice or acted on it. I tried to tell myself I was fine when for multiple years I wasnt. I got fired from my job in 2023 and lied to everyone I was working cause it made myself feel better about the whole situation, and was drinking so much it was not only effecting my own mental health but more importantly; was hurting others that didnt deserve any of it. I had so many people, Potato, Norm, Bird etc. that I was friends with at the time tell me when I was too fucked up or that I need to stop drinking. But I never did. Cause in my head people only liked me when I was drunk, and I used that as an excuse to act like a piece of shit to all the people that were my friends. Some of which for multiple years. I should have listened to you all, gotten help and left when I made multiple farewell posts. I had a massive drinking and substance problem which I passed off for so long, and it led to me saying some of the worst and most vile shit. And most of it was when I wasnt drinking either.

For months I blamed all my shit on alcohol, even now when I've been sober for about 6 months or so. I thought that cause I was sober, I was cured and it was the alcohol's fault when in reality alcohol just made me act like an even worse version of myself. Ever since I went to a therapist it made me realize that the stuff I was saying, to both my friends and especially her, was fucking weird and I cant even imagine how uncomfortable she mustve felt. Again, she is a much better person then I am and I cant express how much of a good person she is for even listening to the bullshit excuses I made and giving me another chance. I've been on a bunch of medications for my mental state, and I shouldve gone through behavioral therapy years ago. Even just things like getting outside, I wouldnt do it as much. I just wanted to feel sorry for myself and have others feel sorry for me, cause of some shit that happen to me of my own actions.

I also owe bird, norm, potato, ryan, august, big sad, and every single person I considered a good friend the biggest apology and I just hope you can forgive me for not only letting you all down, but filling you all with lies and excuses. I hope you can believe me when I say I am not that person anymore and am finally happy with myself, but I still think about what I did. I was lucky to have you guys as friends, I took all of that for granted and I deserve everything that happened to me. And to anyone else that knew me or saw me around in game nights, I owe you an apology too. I definitely offended people with some thing I said while beyond drunk. And honestly I made so many over the line jokes when I was sober too. Despite all the drama that happened last year, you guys really are the best community I've ever been a part of and I am making an appeal if thats possible. I dont care how many restrictions you have to put on me or keep me under watch, whatever it is i am 100% on board with. If you dont accept, I understand even if it hurts. But regardless I had to at least apologize publicly to all the people I fucked over. I hope you all can give me one more chance, and I really do appreciate all the shit my friends gave me after what happened, even if I got angry about it at the time. I needed that to grow and just soak in the shit I dug myself into. I wish you all the best.

Hey everyone. I know there are a lot of newcomers who don't know who I am or likely heard from someone else so I thought I should start off with that. I am Widdy, formerly Widsquard and joined this community in late 2022. I ended up sticking around quite a while because I had a pretty fun time with the TTT server and just generally liked to get to know a lot of you. Below are the reasons for my bans/current one.

Older bans:
Something I also want to bring up before the last paragraph: I had lots of warning points on the server for various things including: Slurs (f-slur), micspam, earrape queue, and queue with slur (again it was not a good thing to do).

Some time in 2024, I had started to develop a distaste towards some staff members because I at least at the time felt like I had a target painted on my back, and that manifested in me feeding into toxic behavior and politics. At some point I just stopped enjoying the game for a while and decided to just mass RDM Tiefling Lesbian and Bab since I knew it would perma ban me. Also on 5/18/2024 and got caught with this previously owned steam account: [STEAM_0:0:798218162 - Hellen Keller's favorite color],
I didn’t want to omit this from the appeal as bad as it looks.

It took me a while to realize a lot about myself. A former friend helped me put my identity into words, which motivated me to finally seek the proper resources to transition from MTF. Also while this isn’t really an excuse for any of my actions, my insecurities and instabilities were amplified when I used to binge drink to handle emotions from loneliness, 3 dogs I unfortunately no longer have, and living paycheck to paycheck.

I definitely idolized the wrong crowd and brought hardship to a lot of you and I feel super bad about that. I miss a lot of the good times I had and people who I have driven away. I am well aware this is likely going to die in its tracks and I am fine with that, I just wanted to apologize mainly for the hardship I caused a lot of people on this server. Other Information: I was always weawwy good excluding the harassment in april where we didn't do our due dilligence to verify a person's claims (though i'd still rather be guilty until proven innocent for this particular thing as i'd rather catch some innocent than let some guilty go free, esp when the consequences are: getting removed from an online server, having the claims being given to the authorities whom are able to prove things without a shadow of a doubt anyway, or if nothing was proven then nothing would happen.)

i do have issues with people here but people that i care about, much to my dismay, really really like this server and dont want to migrate elsewhere, which i get because they have friends here too. also i knew that i had essentially given my address out in the discord but i was FAR too lazy to sift through thousands of msgs to delete all of the identifying things, so i just deleted everything i had. i even worked backward starting at my oldest msgs working back iirc, hoping to give people time to read/gather evidence of my actions if they needed to, though i could be misremembering. obv i had no way of knowing that deleting so many things would rate limit the bot and made it so my stuff was unrecoverable, which i do genuinely apologize for.

i get that, and i really dont have a response for it other than that i have no real intention on interacting with people in the community. i'd be happy to be gagged and server muted so that there's literally no way i can interact with people, i literally just want to play with some of the people i care abt c:

after further thought on the venue thing, if we really cared about people who were harassed/hesitant to play on a server then why on earth did some of the unbans that have happened happened? why is racism homophobia transphobia and all the others just warn points and not single warn before community banned? for that matter why is it that staff had multiple offenses of those and nothing came of it, just allowing them to resign instead of banning them? if we're actually concerned abt that kind of thing we've gotta go full in, not just half ass it. and if all that comes of this is that more people who harass get banned so long as everyone is held to that standard then I'm 100% okay with that cuz harassing people for who they are, things they literally cannot change, is fucking insane to allow.

Okay but is it really hard to be like “hey we’re discussing” or “hey this appeal will take longer than most due to the nature of the ban”? As of today it took a full two weeks before I received any kind of an acknowledgement. It’s not even like I was demanding a decision literally just a “hey we got this we’ll get back to it”. I do appreciate the heads up now though, and I apologize for my reaction, though I’m sure many could understand my frustration.
December 24th (again):
the accusations werent life ruining, they were believed to be true, and at the end of the day, the fact that yall would rather let pedophiles roam free due to being afraid of calling someone out who wasnt guilty is actually insane. the police could do a much more thorough and accurate investigation than anything anyone did here. if found innocent, nothing happens and everything is hunky dory. guilty? sure am glad we stopped them from preying on CHILDREN

Reason for Admins to Unban: So, I was apart of the April bans that were handed out, before everything I kept very silent as a lot of things were thrown at me suddenly and I had no real chance to grasp or understand what was said about me. I was publicly humiliated, shamed, harassed and accused and compared to pretty awful people. While all that was said I decided to stay quiet because I talked with the admins and let them know that I could answer any questions or show them anything if they needed. A week later I was banned and was given little to nothing about why. I am sorry to anyone that felt uncomfortable in anyway if I made them feel that way, I am very concerned and worried about things I say in the first place and often ask or let people know to tell me if something I said goes too far as thats the last thing i ever want to do with anyone. This was something that if it was an issue could have been talked to me privately and changed pretty quickly as I would have stopped as soon as anything was stated. I really just want to be able to play ttt and post on the forums again as regardless of how it was handled I still made changes to things I do and worked on myself these last 3 months.

Length of Minimum Appeal Time (If given): 3 Months from the ban date of 04/21/2024

Reason for Admins to Unban:
While I did say things in the past that are inappropriate, I do not believe that anything I have said has crossed the lines leading to the severity of my current ban. I feel that this ban is solely intended as punishment, and not to give me the ability to grow, as I haven't exhibited or been shown any behaviors to justify it. Anything that has been brought together to form this ban would not approach the levels needed for such an extreme punishment. No admin has confirmed or denied anything specific, and all who I’ve spoken with have given me conflicting information. I’ve spent the past few months reflecting on how I talk to people because I want to be a better person; but without being given the evidence, since all they have provided me with is conflicting statements, that makes it harder to do.

I was willing to share any and all information with admins and clarify anything with them, but they never once approached me before the ban to ask my side or interpretation for literally anything I could have ever done. To demonstrate this. Two of the admins were ready to community ban me instantly over the false pedophilia allegations without doing a proper investigation, and without approaching me.
Being an Ex-Admin I know how important hearing both sides is. None of them did that in my situation until I first reached out, aside from Reina who asked how I was holding up, and Icey who was willing to read the proof I presented.
With all of this said, that is why I believe I should be unbanned.

I think from now on that if I am unbanned I will mostly keep to myself to the best of my ability. To hopefully provide some relief to those who may be concerned, I have removed or blocked anyone that I may have antagonized or fought with during April; as a precaution to make sure this type of blowup does not occur again. I encourage all those offended by my words to do the same, as it is not my intention to make this place uncomfortable for other individuals.
