Last night, a point came up about what you can kos for. Currently you can't kos off location ( though people do anyways ). Detective has the Visualizer, which shows where someone was killed from. @Trombowen was shown at such a location as he came in to kill the detective right after being shown to be the killer of myself. Though he didn't succeed, the question arose about the Detective not being allowed to use a visualizer for anything with the server rule against location kos.
The rule itself often causes issue. Example is if you see two people enter a room, bloodsplatter suddenly paints the floor of the doorway and someone walks out, you can't kos the person walking out as that would be location, as you only saw blood, not the act of killing itself. You don't know if there is a 3rd person in the room, you assume there was only two.
Trom's point was that even though he was in the exact point where the Visualizer pointed to, the detective couldn't kos for it because it is just a location, and just 'happened' to be in the sniper spot pointed to by the hologram in a remote location.
