2: Zaxby's: The hate I have seen for Zaxby's on this thread is unreal. Zaxby's chicken is not nearly that bad. The Zax Sauce is great, the chicken is also consistently made well; plus, a 5 minute drive for me makes this easy.
3: Popeye's: Great chicken but not going to drive over 20 minutes to an hour for chicken. Their sandwiches are incredibly good though. (I always think of this video when I think of Popeye's though).
4: KFC is consistently the worst chicken I have ever had. Dry, never has any flavor. Maybe the KFCs that are in my area just are not good, but

Never Had:

Church's Chicken: Not driving an hour to try a place where I can get Chick-Fil-A or Zaxby's 5 minutes from me
Raising Canes: Same deal. Never have had one within 90 minutes of me. There's one an hour from me now; not driving to try that.

Honorable Mention: Bojangles

How are you going to talk about fried chicken places and not talk about Bojangles? Bojangles is better than KFC, but definitely not better than Zaxby's or Popeye's.

They stopped donating to those sorts of groups as of 2019.
Most of their customer service values are things that the Christian faith talks about (turning the other cheek when wronged, seeking to please others over yourself), so those were the values I was referring to.

  • Popeyes
  • KFC
  • Chick Fil A
  • Raising Canes
  • Zaxbys
  • Church's
Ranking fast food fried chicken:

1. Church's (Goated): I have a bias towards Church's. The Church's across the street from my childhood home brought me many delicious meals with juicy chicken, cheesy mac, and crispy fries. Their honey rolls never fail to make me chug a glass of water. Literally the driest substance on Earth.

2. Chick-Fil-A (Overrated Homophobic Chicken): This is the second best of the options listed and all I can really say about it is that it's mid asf. Like, its decent. It's okay. But I don't spend my money there because they spend their money on homophobic PACs.

3. Raising Canes (Dry): Raising Cane's sauce is gross and their chicken is dry as hell. I've heard people say "oh but their texas toast is so good!" you can make toast at home.

4. Zaxbys (Greasy): Zaxbys is like if you saw the issues with Raising Canes and said "well, greasy is the opposite of dry" and then dumped a vat of canola oil onto each order of chicken.

5. Popeye's (Radioactive Slop): This is almost as bad as it gets. I have always avoided Popeye's, but I tried them again when that chicken sandwich went viral. I wish I could get my money back. The flavor was offensive in every way and I had acid reflux for like 3 days after eating it. It tasted like painful vinegar and the chicken was so loose it pretty much fell apart on the first bite.

- 6. KFC (Unholy Garbage): If you eat at KFC I'm not sure you qualify as human. Truly despicable. I've heard its a lot better outside of the US though.

Kentucky Fried Chicken

  • Bojangles
How the hell did you leave Bojangles out of this? East coast chicken at its finest. Everything you order there, even the fries, taste like chicken. Ordered breakfast from there one day and got a bacon, egg, cheese biscuit and even that tasted like fried chicken somehow. I don't know how the hell it works but it is witchcraft, to a point I am afraid not to give them number one. Also it's tasty and they have Cheerwine.
  • Raising Cane's
Raising Cane's gets my second from the top spot. I grew up in Columbus, and my local Cane's was god tier. I never had dry chicken, I love me some Cane's Sauce, and I always get double toast no slaw. The child in me still loves some tendies and they're my favorite. Living in Florida I haven't had Cane's in years, so this rating is tinted by the rose-colored glasses of nostalgia.
  • Chick Fil A
Homophobic Chicken! The hate makes it taste better. As a bisexual member of the forum, I don't discriminate- I love a juicy set of thighs. I am convinced that the hate they have in their hearts, being the salty bitches they are, translates into their brine for some tender salty chicken.
  • KFC
KFC is only this high because the Famous Bowl is my favorite fast food menu item. Chicken nuggets, mashed taters, gravy, corn, and cheese? This is my first stop whenever I'm hungover.
  • Zaxby's
Mentioned in other comments, oh so greasy. But I will usually stop at a Zaxby's on a road trip just cause it's easy and there. Usually my stop after a music festival because Chick Fil A is closed on Sundays. Don't have it often.
  • Popeye's
This review is tinted because good Popeye's is goated. The one near me absolutely sucks. They're always out of literally everything, how the hell you run out of mashed potatoes and BISCUITS so consistently? Then have the audacity not to offer me any sides or take money off to make up for that. They also had a stranglehold on the US with their chicken sandwich that was honestly bizarre.
  • Church's
I've been to three different Church's locations, and they've all been pretty terrible. Might have just gotten unlucky, only redeeming quality is their biscuits always hit.

1. Popeyes

This establishment offers a fascinatingly crispy outer shell with seasoning that activates numerous human taste sensors. The "spicy" variation caused a delightful tingle in my sensory receptors. The chicken sandwich is a cultural phenomenon I shall report back to my planet.

2. Chick-fil-A

The chicken is remarkably tender, almost unnaturally so, as if marinated in a substance designed to disarm even the most skeptical alien palate. Their "Chick-fil-A Sauce" is an artifact worthy of preservation.

3. Raising Cane’s

This establishment’s simplicity is commendable. Their chicken fingers are pure in form and consistent in quality. The Cane’s Sauce is a binding agent of flavor that elevates the experience. I hypothesize it contains compounds that encourage addiction.

4. Zaxby’s

Zaxby’s offers diversity in its menu, with wings and tenders paired with a wide array of dipping sauces. While enjoyable, the flavor consistency fluctuated, leaving my data inconclusive.

5. KFC

As a historical entity, this "Kentucky Fried Chicken" offers nostalgia to Earthlings. However, the flavor and textural complexity pale in comparison to its competitors. Their "Extra Crispy" variety is intriguing but unevenly executed.

6. Church’s Chicken

This establishment provides sustenance in generous portions, but the flavoring lacks the intensity I detected in its rivals. Their honey-glazed biscuits are the true standout, a carbohydrate delight my species found perplexing yet irresistible.

In conclusion, Earth’s fried chicken culture is a marvel of culinary evolution. I will suggest establishing diplomatic relations with Popeyes and Chick-fil-A to secure intergalactic food trade agreements.
I commend the effort and actual reviews of the places. this was an entertaining thing to read

Zaxbys- best options and vast menu.

Raisin Cane's- most consistent. always fast and fresh. But the fries are completely unseasoned.

Popeyes-this place could easily be number one, but the managers almost across the board don't know how to order inventory, and also this place has the tendency to take forever.

KFC-used to be better, but something recently changed flavor wise. the KFC bowl is fire though

Church's-Nothing great about it, but also nothing terrible. most stuff is bland, but the employees are usually the best

Chick Fil A-fuck this place. chicken is overrated, and actively supports gay conversion.
