Why you want to help the community: This is the community I basically grew up in and I want to help out, I've been here for a while and staffed a few times so I think the community and the server could benefit from me being staff once again

I want to highlight a few criteria that I personally look for when I decide whether or not to give a +1 to a trusted app.

• Activity
  Damien is one of the server's all time most active players. He has been very active again for a few months now, so he checks that box.
  

• Knowledge of the game & the rules
  Damien is former staff and has definitely demonstrated intimate knowledge of the rules, so he checks this box as well.
  

• Presence within the community
  Damien has a lot of history with the Dinks community and while his time here doesn't appear to have been perfectly positive, it seems like it's been pretty far from negative overall. 
  

Trusted is not a position that requires absolutely perfect judgement, and growth occurs over time. I think if Damien's motivated to give the server a helping hand (barring something outside of the scope of my knowledge), he should be granted the ability to do just that. He'll have the opportunity to prove himself further from there.

There seems to be a history with Damien, staff apps and whatnot, but I genuinely couldn’t care about them. It doesn’t take a lot to handle trusted “duties”. The only thing I care about when meeting someone or hanging out with them is whether they’re a good person or not, everything else is added value, and Damien is good at their core from what I can tell. He doesn’t need to be a leader or have the emotional maturity and introspection of an old man, he just needs to be able to tell when an unforgiven report warrants a slay, and when to hand out warns. All of which he should be more than capable of doing so. He doesn't need to be perfect for the role either, the added responsibility will give him the experience to grow alongside the role.

Not that I know the guy that well, but if there was a time when he was too immature to handle the responsibility, I don’t see why that would be the case now given what I’ve seen.

On a personal note (and this is for the staff team that’ll be discussing the app in their discord), yall don’t have enough staff yet. You unironically should have enough to keep the server running 24/7 without issues that cant be solved on the spot, having people come into the discord at 2 a.m. complaining there’s people rdming or worse. Not that I play at those hours, I’m simply saying that the goal when reviewing staff apps should be to get capable people to fill those times when there’s no staff on. Whether yall agree with me or not, at the end of the day we are talking about staffing a game that's almost 20 years old. You can only be so picky.

I seen you mishandle an rdm report before, you do not show enough maturity, when you receive negative feedback you take it as an insult, and the list goes on. When you staff it feels like you just go on your opinion. From the comments that want you staff I see there isn't much reasoning. Good luck on your staff app, I just feel indifferent about it.
