+1. I don't play anymore, but I think you are going to be fine. If you resign, whatever. I don't care enough to use that as a reason to reject you, even if can be argued to be an arduous cycle. Just whatever you do, keep your word about what you said about your mindset.

I can understand that finding out someone you idolized is a terrible human being can have a negative impact on your perspective on things; I actually had a similar experience with that in my collegiate music program, so I know how that can affect one's mental state. It is very destructive to one's ability to discern character, as it makes you feel as if you are incapable of it. Just remember that every human being makes mistakes!


Have fun with it. If this is what you want to do, then by all means do it.

Coming back to chime in again- even if Damien did get trusted again and resign, he didn’t waste anyone’s time. He’s been staff previously, so already knows what to do. I think the more staff we have the better, Damien is plenty active. If he can handle it, it’s just another person to help handle RDM and other matters.

I'm gonna do a +1 here.

He can handle RDM reports and the likes just fine.

One of the biggest ups for him I would say is helping bring the Dinks discord community back together. The music sessions are definitely getting people to do things in Dinks spaces pretty well, and even if I'm just swinging by the Discord it's often I see him actively participating. If a staff role can help him further that, I'm all for that greater community involvement.

Not really worried about drama-related stuff at this point, I think he's matured and is considerably more levelheaded than the last time of application and I don't foresee any issues of that magnitude occurring again and even if they did I'm not worried about him doing anything rash. The responses to some of the questions show to me that I think he should get a chance to prove things, even though I understand the hangups some may have.

+1 from me. He still helps staff find evidence with rdmers and points out hackers almost immediately. Although he does have a tendency of bickering (for fun) with others. He can help me with this stuff lol.

On one hand the community seems to be a lot more open to you becoming staff this time and you're definitely involved and active.

On the other, seems to me like we're ignoring most of the points brought up in the last app (which is still the most recent denied app btw) and going toward an attitude of "don't mention it" and I am not entirely convinced that the Damien cycle won't reset. Considering the last app was pretty recent:

I don't want to sound rude or anything but have you read any of the posts I've made on this app? I haven't ignored anything and I've been very open with my replies to people with criticism for me, even if I disagree with their points I've responded with my point of view and explained why I have that point of view. The points made on the last app were brought up once more and I answered them as best as I could.

Said this before on his previous app I believe but ill say it again on here, I know damien isn't perfect but he does have his moments of maturity and trying to do the right thing, I think an issue with that is it isnt always easy since we are human after all and prone to making mistakes. We just have to do our best to learn from them and I believe and hope damien continues to grow, that being said I do believe damien would do alright as trusted imo but that is just my view point.

+1 I have zero qualms with Damien being staff. I don't see a problem with someone applying after resigning, I'd rather they do that than go inactive. Hot headed? Good. Give me another staff member to argue with.
