The world of Middles Realms is watched over by what people call the "all king". He watches over all the other kingdoms and rulers like a deity helping those truly in need.
Your story begins in the continent of Gielinor which has separate kingdoms in a power struggle of sorts. This kingdom mainly consists of Elves ruled by their queen.
The Elves care more about gaining land for themselves. Afterall, they are the superior race.
However, some Elves don't agree with the queen's views. They deserted and settled in human kingdoms and other places around the world.
There are dwarves who live in the mountains and underground which have the most prestigious weapons and armors made form the purest of metals. They only allow people into their kingdom if worthy.
The beast men whose numbers are slowly increasing after the cleansing of them 10 years ago by the former human king. They are slowly integrating back into society. Many of them have been given pity and many still suffer persecution at the hands of humans.
Lastly, the humans just crowned there new king. After his 5 years of ruling, his kingdom has become a melting pot of people and various beliefs. People displaced from their lands live in this kingdom due to the elves unending conquest into the their lands.
This only names a few major races in this vast world. You will explore and meet all sort of races and people with the new lands you will travel.
