Which dev teams do you want to join and why: The dev team. I will explain below.
What can you do to help the community dev wise:
• I can provide guidance to new members looking to develop their skills.
• Handle sensitive information as I have done in the past and still do.
• I have the capability to update Prop-Hunt directly, and I have gotten permission from Dinkleberg to resume this activity.
• Work on patches to fix errors.
• Develop new content such as maps, modals, weapons etc.
• Manage the developer team and provide structure to easily messy process.
Have you had any past experience that would translate to dev work: I will start with content that I can no longer show and that is that I use to make maps for a community called Dread-Faction that is no longer around. As for work I can show I have helped fix the relay bot alongside Chilbil and Ryan722, developed content for Prop-Hunt and a few other addons in use on the server. I am all so currently studying to become a developer.
Have you been banned anywhere in the community? (Link Relevant Posts): No.
Have you previously held a staff rank on dinks? I used to be the Prop-Hunt administrator.

A brief overview of my aim.
As part of my application, I would like to suggest a little on how the developer team should be run. It is my understanding that Kaptanles is currently changing the layout of the main staff discord to incorporate the developer team. However, the last time I laid eyes on that Discord it was a very long list chat/voice channel that could sometimes be confusing as an administrator. As such I am suggesting that we simply make a separate discord for the development team. This is an easy way to simplify everything.
Another matter that has caught my eye is the matter of having the development team in separate TTT, PH, Murder sections. The problem with this is how small such a team would be. Another matter to keep in mind is the benefits from crosspollination in the past, for example the TTT and PH team working on matters together. As such the developer team should be one unified team that can simply pick and choose the matters they wish to work on, and it can offer simple yet distinct manner; allowing for decluttering and ease of access. I will explain a little more below in an example of the discord.
Dinks Workshop

This is an example of how I think the developer discord should be laid out and a little on how it could be run. This is subject to change as it is a concept peace.

Noticeboard.
This acts as an announcement page and a list for important tasks such as an error causing server crashes. We can all so use this to provide a quick chat link to the discord forum working on the matter with all the information and resources on the matter. Think of it has a hybrid chapter index for the server.
Guidelines.
This will contain the rules of the developer discord as well as rules for content we change or develop. It will all contain as named; guidelines for things such as map spawn requirements, modal texture and polygon limits, etc.
Server Index.
An actual detailed index of all the chats and sub forums, as well as the [TTT], [PH], [Murder] etc, tag system that will allow us to keep everything in their respective categories and well sorted, in a way that removes the need to have a list of copy and pasted chats. I cannot stress how massive a discords chat list will become without this system in place.
Supplies.
This will contain links to tools that are useful for developing, and past bins. For example, Hammer++, guides such as how to code or reference other users’ work you use, d33r point shop accessories and animations past bin; containing all the code needed for actually applying content available but not used, etc.
![[Image: 1voDmOE.png]](https://i.imgur.com/1voDmOE.png)
This list is simple. A general voice/text chat with a few quieter developer voices calls for when you want to work with others but keep it quiet and focused.
![[Image: NAmbq1m.png]](https://i.imgur.com/NAmbq1m.png)
This is a discord forum list to categories the type of content we work on. They are self-explanatory for the most part and can be further organized using a tag system. This includes content meant for multiple servers as you can simply add more than one tag.

Leaders chat.
All the servers have their own administrator chats to discuss matters that are too sensitive to risk being made public. This will be a section for all administrators or lead developers only. Trust me they are not that used.
High end date.
In this context it will simply be the section containing files with things such as web hooks, tokens, etc. This way the respective administrators can come and collect a copy of the files they are needed or as finalized. For example, a discord bot can be %100 developed in the development section, but I final copy of the bit with it’s tokens and web hooks entered will be store inn high end for safe keeping, making it the file you wish to put on the server, etc.
The discord man.
All community servers need to have a chat that discord can dump their updates into. That is all this is for.
Suggestion for the roles and structure.

Dev Team.
You are a developer plain and simple, you either do or you don’t with the possibility Dev Team+ down the line which can access tools such as map editor.

Lead Developer.
It’s simple. They’re a developer that can manage the discord and the team. And handle sensitive information.
Extra.
It is my plan to convince Dinkleberg to give me super admin on the servers temporarily on all the servers so I can add a few new roles and restructure what it is admins can do such as apply staff ranks. This will need to be discussed with Dinkleberg as to what it is he will allow for what rank before just applying the developer role to myself. Or co-owner, if he’s up for a co-owner I am down for that. I have my doubts about that last part.
Addressing my recent absence.
I left discord and many others to get some fresh air and keep contact with people who I am very close to after a personal matter in my life. All so the DDOSing of the forum combined with my geographical location made it impossible to access the forums from time to time. However I expect this application to stay up for a reasonably long time as we discuss the matter of how the developer team will work in further detail.
