What would you like to tell us:

i feel that i should be given a second chance because i have done a lot of introspection giving me a new perspective on things while also improving my support structures to help me deal with things that bother me rather than airing it out in the general chat and indirectly hurting people including staff alike. i also have discussed a lot with closer friends like beaker and others regarding about things i want to focus on about like school, careers, relationship building, discipline, etc. i have also began getting into hobbies like fishing, walking outside aiming for 5-10k steps a day, reading, journaling, meditation, and gardening as these hobbies help me keep grounded mentally. with meditation and walks helping me out the most as i use them to self reflect about my actions and how they may affect the people who surround me. another thing i would like to point out is that i have a strong interest in making sure the dink's community is free of institutionalized racism and gender discrimination. while i haven't always been free of faults, no one has ever accused me of not caring. i've been part of many controversies, but i always strive to make dink's a better place, even if sometimes that comes at the expense of the comfort of certain kinds of gamers. while i can sometimes be harsh, and that's something i'm working on, no one can genuinely say my concerns haven't been valid. and for what it's worth, the community has markedly improved as of late. i'm not so self-centered as to say that's because of my efforts, but i am satisfied with the direction dink's is heading as of today. i don't usually ramble this long but i feel as though this topic deserved a bit of explanation, all things considered. thank you if you got to the end.

In all honesty what put you over the threshold wasn't even your typical behavior which is funny to me the thing that put you over was you posting a link to another discord server if I remember correctly combined with your past unexpired warns put you at a perma ban, all in all I do think you could have appealed it and have gotten unbanned way sooner if you tried so good luck and also appeal your discord warns even if expired they still count towards the total and will result in a punishment when they stack up.

Interacting with you on TTT has always been totally fine & without incident, sometimes even pleasant -- but your behavior on the forums is a totally different story. Your posts here have ranged from benign to outright inflammatory. In this appeal, you say

and I'll be honest, this doesn't make any sense to me at all. In my experience, most of your posts seem to exist with the sole intention of stirring up controversy, sometimes when there wouldn't have been any in the first place. 

That being said, I don't know if I was even really a part of the community when you were active in the Discord, so I just lack the context to make a fair decision here. Having some context around the ban -- how long it's been, what the reason behind the warns were, etc. -- would be helpful, if Tea or any Discord staff from that time want to chime in.

For context, between October of 2023 and October of 2024, when Tea was banned, they got 94 warn points, and didn't appeal any, before being banned for the last one due to a link to another discord that was automodded, it was at that time suspected that their account may be compromised because of how random it was as well.

For the rest of the warns, aside from one case of spam, it's mostly a mixture of toxicity and NSFW and toxicity while being NSFW. In my opinion, a pretty good chunk of these would be easily appealed, or easily appealed after an unban and a few months of not being too disruptive. Some of the toxicity was also closer to harassment. During this several forum warns and a few TTT warns also happened, mostly either NSFW, Toxicity, or shitposting. Lots of shitposting.

Which does bring me to my next point. Parts of this reads as a shitpost. If you just tell me it's not one, I'll take your word for it, just want confirmation.

if i need to appeal the warns individually, i can absolutely do that. i felt as though the amount of time since the incidents and the nature of the warns left little need for it. i got one warn, and i think i know who it's from, for posting a meme about discord mods. while not all of them are as trivial, many of them certainly felt that way.

I feel like a lot of the warns probably stemmed from springtime incidents of last year that I don't care to revisit.
Beyond that, I don't have any contacts for what the warns were, so I'll only speak to my experiences with tea during my tenure.
Tea was a notable troll on and off, mostly inactive and dead like most of the old heads. When tea was active, they were at most annoying, but at best annoying. They weren't necessarily harassing from what I remember, and we're simply just that - annoying. Muting them from the prop hunt and murder channels fixed most of the problems tea had.
I do remember some NSFW stuff, and may have even banned tea at one point. I'm not sure if I did, my memory is hazy. But what I think some people forget is that this is not an NSFW discord, and given past events that Us and other Gmod communities dealt with, there is no tolerance for sexual stuff in the discord. That would be my only concern about letting tea back in. It seems like some of those issues may have continued.

Because of that I remain neutral. If it wasn't for the NSFW stuff, I wouldn't see any other reason why tea can't be let back in.
Without context, I would suggest an unban with a short leash. Tea and I have butted heads in the past, but none of those issues give me concern for an unban.

All of the warns tea had up until that point we're expired but with permanent points meaning even if you are a good lil dinkleberg after being a dickhead you can still receive punishment I think the last warn tea had was from a year or so ago after if there is a more recent one then I'm totally forgetting and apologize but for the most part tea was doing everything within the rules and if at the time the perma points didn't exist then the punishment would have been way lighter just a warn and probably a mute.

For tea I'd suggest appealing a lot of your warns even If they are expired since after the discord link warn you're still close to another perma, so try to get most of them removed/appealed and don't be a dickhead.
