Do you meet the minimum age requirement(18+)?: I am 19

What do you plan to do as a web staff member?: I plan on helping out the web admin and other web staff on situations like closing threads and/or telling people to calm down when they aren't available to do so, since I am pretty much online all day everyday. I also plan on helping out when stuff needs to get deleted/moved like a staff application in the ban requests or a serious donor abuse thread in the guides section. I will do my best to help out the team as much as I can, and I am online all day like I said so that'll be pretty often if someone else doesn't step in to help before I do.

What made you decide to apply?: rand said to   , and I do want to help out with the forums even if they are a little dead.

Anything else you would like to add?: any and all genuine criticism is valid, and if you would like to leave it on the application itself you could or you could send what you want to say to any of the current web staff, a non forum staff member you trust, and/or the web admin @RyanHighman if you feel the need to! thank you for taking a look at my app <3

I do not think you should be forum staff.

generally, how you behave is not that which I could call "neutral" and unbiased. In fact, I often find (anectdotally) that you can be a bit abrasive to others when they have
opinions that aren't similar to yours. And instead of calmly explaining the difference in opinions, you tend to explain in a way that can be abrasive, rude, and confrontational.

In fact, Damien is a great guy who has run music night before and hes honestly pretty chill on TTT. 

I just (personally) don't think Damien is someone that everyone would agree is a neutral party that anyone could go to without feeling to themselves that their complaint won't be given equal weight.

I'm torn on this one. I think sad brings up some good points about bias that you should take in mind, but Damian has more experience just applying for staff in this community, setting aside actual staffing, then many people have in a staff role. I make that joke that no one found funny to prove the point that Damian has a lot of experience, and has noticeably matured lately.

Two things of note stand out to me: one, his music sessions have become a great community hit outside of the game servers, and two, when he needed to take a step back from responsibilities here to handle his personal life, he actually took them (i.e. handing off the music nights).

Is he capable of being trusted as a forum moderator? I'm not sure, but I think so. I think the role is reduced from what it used to be, and no longer effectively ip-doxxes people on the forums. I believe that is reserved for admin+ now. Plus, I think Damien has frankly grown up a lot over the past couple years, both in age and in maturity.

I'm a lot less active than I used to be, but for my long time of knowing damien, I think he would be appropriate for the role. We need active web staff to keep important discussion threads open while eliminating the fights and shitposting that way too often closes useful discussion. I think in this respect, I think Damien would be good in deleting obvious shitposting while remaining unbiased in his efforts.

Tldr +1 unless actual evidence of bias comes out in recent times.
