I want to preface this reply by saying that Rand and I have been friends for many years now. I don’t usually comment on my friends staff apps because I done want to come off as biased in any capacity, however, I am going to make an exception here.

Rand, I think you will do really well on the admin team. I also think you have some “qualities” that I can see would hurt your chances at admin in the eyes of others. You have a tendency to be combative when someone challenges your point of view and very occasionally take it too far. I know that if given the role this would likely become a non issue. I personally believe that as admin you would know your position comes with more eyes on your behavior and would be much more (agreeable? I can’t find the right word lol). But that comes from my experience with you. Someone who may not know you as well could see otherwise. I’m not saying that this is a deal breaker, but more something to work on as this application simmers.

A few years back there was a period where you were a little trouble maker. Leaking staff chat, raiding the discord (with yours truly of course), and just generally being a thorn in the side of the staff team. I’m only bringing this up because of how much you have changed since then. Yeah there is a bit of tomfoolery here and there but it’s rarely at the expense of anyone. You are very helpful on server, forums, and discord when any situation comes up that you can help with. There is the occasional “*SIGH* I GUESS” but you’re clearly never serious about it lol. You are in a far better place than when you were barred from being staff for sure.

Overall I believe, as admin, you would do incredible work. For me I (obviously) +1 and would be ecstatic to see you get the admin role you have been working for. Keep up the good work.
