This was a big enough issue that people outside of the staffing space knew about it, so I'll gladly fill in blanks and then give my thoughts.
About 5-10 were able to pull off a lag exploit that was making the server lag over a few rounds to varying degrees. They did not crash the server, though there may be reason to believe it was close, allegedly.
I've always thought this warn and minor lagging incidences, especially by people who play a lot, being in the same bracket as malicious DDoSing is a bit insane, and should either be non-expiring but appealable, or just expire eventually in general, especially since actual harm from this was 0. There is belief that as permanent warns they should stay entirely permanent. I also disagree with this. This group of players has been very helpful with hackers recently, very fun to play with for a long time, and has shown zero signs that it would happen again over a year later. I'd be +1 for removing it from anyone apart of the incident that has been playing consistently recently.
