I fear if we did this though, everyone would lose their inventory and there wouldn't be an easy way for everyone to migrate over to a new system.

Basically the only reason we haven't removed it unfortunately.

If we found an alternative shop system, I'd bet a certain fish could've made the conversion. RIP.
