Reason for Admins to Unban: I committed revenge rdm earlier today, it was irrational and I don't really have an excuse, so I know that warning was justified and I apologize for that. However, given I had a 12-point warn from a year ago that didn't expire, this earned me a 3-day ban. If possible, I'd like to use this appeal to remove that 12-point warn or reduce it to a 4-point trolling warn.

The 12-pointer was for lagging the server intentionally. I haven't done anything of the sorts recently nor do I plan on doing it again. I even recall a convo with the admins right after the ban coming up with ideas on how to prevent this type of 'exploiting' in the future, but I think those chats fizzled out as I ended up taking a several month break from TTT. I understand even if it was funny at the time, it wasn't right to hold the entire server hostage while it was lagging out. If it helps my case, I'd be more than happy to revisit that discussion and help the admins with performance related things as I believe there are a couple small changes that can be made to noticeably decrease the random lag spikes on the server.

I’m actually going to +1 this appeal. 

I’ve played with Murl for ~6 months now and this is the first time I’ve even seen him warned. I was not present when he was granted his 12 point, never-expiring warn for attempted crashing of the server, but I’m confident enough to say that he is not very likely to commit recidivism.

He’s been a positive presence on the server pretty much every time I’m on with him, and I’d hate for this to bog down his time playing with us. I think the ban AND the never expiring 12-point server crash attempt warn warrant being lifted, given the length of time, murl’s history on the server, and his on-server activity/behavior since the server crash attempt ban/warn occurred.

+1 for dropping the ban and the warn points. Both decisions were certainly poor decisions, but since I’ve been more active again on server I would say those moments are individual bad decisions as opposed to something habitual

Bias and jokes aside, I think murl deserves to have his warn successfully appealed considering that he's been a model player aside from the revenge rdm, and the warn was over a year ago by now afaik.

Multiple days and times, leave the warn and thus the three day ban. It will expire eventually. If this is the case, -1.

This was a case of a group of 4-5 people doing it over several rounds in 1 day. I’d also like to clarify that even if the 12 point warn gets removed, it doesn’t mean the 3 day ban will be lifted. Those are 2 separate conversations.

Several rounds in one day sounds like general tomfoolery that got out of hand, egged on by the stupidity that is a group of people on the internet. No permanent harm was done, and doesn't sound like they were being hateful since this warn doesn't include slurs or hate speech.

+1 to change the warn points to trolling, and lift the ban. Seems like tomfoolery not maliciousness. I think there's a case for giving him a fresh start with these new warn points, and have whatever time he has spent banned be his punishment for this new discretion.

The warn they are appealing is from 3/2024 when murl and a groul of people purposfully attempted to crash the server on multiple rounds of crunny craddle, even after I joined to issue warns and bans.

I don't think a 12 point warn should exist for Murl at this time. It should most definitely reduce over time like 3 points every 4 months until it gets fully expunged. He shouldn't be banned at this time if the points were lowered.
