weapon skins are either completely fucking hideous and pointless or abusive (i.e. don't render properly, render to look like something else, etc) and community skins were cool!!

i dont think i was around when community skins were a thing so i dont get what the difference is really. could you explain further?

you could upload your own skins (pending review by staff so you don't upload porn or whatever) and you could buy it from the pointshop

I think with a stronger Dev team community skin should come back. If memory serves, they were removed because some of the skins were causing hitbox issues.

I don't like the idea of removing completely the weapon skins, though I am in support of removing anything that interferes with gameplay. If there some kind of rendering issue then we should try to get it fixed.

Or we just add community wep skins to the weapon skins addon... We literally had some made by a staff that just haven't made it to main yet.


Also the rendering issue has to do with some skins and rendering order on some maps. No idea what causes it.
