warn appeal
#21
Been busy with work and weddings just logged on to see this whole ass mess.

+1 for removing d33r’s teaming warn here.

I don’t really see how anyone’s game was disrupted besides Pleepo. Their game was disrupted by the actions of eam, d33r fulfilled the inno role by killing a player they knew to be a traitor (because they were killed by that person).

If anything, I think Eam should have gotten a 6 point trolling warn based on our guidelines: “Trolling is when someone intentionally engages in provocative, irreverent, or offensive behavior in order to bait other players' reactions for a laugh”

TL;DR: D33r played the objective. Eam participated in some silly goose behavior that ended up affecting another player’s experience for a laugh. Should be trolling not teaming.

Your appeal has been accepted, and the staff guidelines have been updated to specify that the revived inno should only be included in the teaming warn if they demonstrably coordinated the revive with the traitor.

Eam has to make his own appeal if he wishes to, but his actions are categorically teaming. If you revive a member of the opposite team, you are responsible for any actions they take after that point. If you revive an inno and they don't kill anyone or delay the round (as is the case in most of the situations referenced throughout this thread), then it isn't teaming. It becomes teaming when the revived player goes on to alter the round.

To reiterate once again, all instances of teaming should be reported to staff. If anyone feels that a staff member is not applying the rules equally, please notify an admin or make an abuse report.
