I already expressed this opinion to one of the TTT admins earlier this morning, but I too am in favor of a reduction. As the banning moderator, I don't feel all that comfortable with the circumstances preceding the ban. I'm no friend of the player in question, yet my conscience was tingling this morning.
I am not in favor of a full unban, however, because this is not a first time offense. The player in question was previously warned for doing almost exactly the same thing just a couple days beforehand. Yet, he did it again with full knowledge that if he received three reports, a permaban would ensue.
I believe a reduction is warranted though. This clearly wasn't a malicious incident - the player wasn't some random troll that came on the server for 10 minutes beforehand with one intent only - to commit mass RDM.
Given his past bans and history with harassing/insulting other players, however, I suggest a reduced ban period of one month. I, of course, defer to the judgment of the admins on the question of the appropriate ban reduction period.
