Just for the record I had nothing to do with any actions taken today. I was offline all day, and am still getting caught up on the situation.
But my opinion at this time regarding the word in question is (copied verbatum from what I posted in staff discord)
My personal opinion is that if discord TOS doesn't have any influence on the use of the term i don't mind it being used in a non-derogatory way. Its not a slur like the f or n word, which have absolutely no reason for them to be said. But calling someone that to be derogatory, in any form, should be disallowed.
