I've played frequently with rotten cleric the past month or so and I don't really recall any bad experiences with them before seeing this. Usually players that have ill-will in this manner say weird things constantly, so I'm thinking this was just a case of someone letting an intrusive thought out and saying some really dumb shit. The guy doesn't deserve the dinkleberg death sentence though.
To be fair, the responses above are somewhat justified - would you ever say anything that weird to a group of friends IRL? probably not. keep in mind there are most likely minors on the server too. have better self control of your dark humor and you should be good.
