looks like we can all safely blame gabe for not putting an end to this sooner.

I'm happy the discussion led to some change, and I hope this decision helps in the problem areas goin' forward. :)

Hey all, update on this.

There was recently found a way to give rep on subforums for which rep has been disabled (it was literally my fault I left out a template by accident). This obviously defeats the purpose of the change Gabe decided to make in the first place. Now that it's fixed, I'll be removing these reps given.

While this is patched, I'll ask for people to please not hunt around to find other ways to give rep where you shouldn't be able to. We'll be giving out warnings to anyone we find doing this (from now on).
