@TheAloneOne said I should bump the suggestion of adding an updated version of ttt_waterworld, so I have, and I will add two other maps to the mix.
Any video is muted due to me not knowing my music would play through Bandicam. If you hear music, apologies.
[TTT_Waterworld_Remastered]
The map is a lot less bright, however, it does have a very gloomy feeling to it and continues to have a significant frame drop, as shared with the other version. You almost begin to miss the blinding brightness of the original after awhile.
A video can be seen here.
Taken from the workshop description:
- Optimizations in structure, lighting, gameplay and texture application
- New 3D Skybox (including spectator props)
- A new room behind the originally closed doors at spawn
- Completely reworked teleporters
- The removal of every possibility there was to test (this was mainly done, because many servers dont allow testing at all, for which the slide is just too much fun)
- An additional T-Trap in the mentioned "Soda room"
- An additional T-Trap at the showers
- Expansion of the T-Room and it's functions (For the T-Tools to be functional you now need to activate a big switch in the T-Room every round)
- All traitors will receive a TTT-Message in the upper-right corner, whenever a major T-Trap is activated, (Chlorine gas, hot water, soda machine and pool shutter) to warn each other.
- Both T-Valves (Chlorine- and Heat valve) can now be shot from any distance and are animated after being "pressed"(To encourage the usage of both)
[TTT_Community_Pool_Overhaul]
The map loses some of its simplistic charm compared to the original version, but I've never grasped much outside of the original version other than 'I'm going to hunker down at spawn.'
Video run through.
[TTT_PoolParty]
Something about this map had such a simple charm to it. It's like ttt_waterworld, but more compact with a few added features.
