That's not necessarily the case. We do not put how low a players rep is into consideration when discussing Staff Apps. What we do though, is talk about their activity and behavior on the server and on the forums. The forum reputations are meaningless when it comes to a Staff App. You could have +150 Reputation on the forums, but you're not guaranteed staff. It's your behavior and activity that counts. Players that do have a very high negative rating have a higher chance to be known for Trolling / Shitposting,etc here.

That is possibly why you see players with low negative ratings. Like I said, we do not put their forum reputation into consideration at all. But I can see why you think it makes players look "untrustworthy" 100%.
