Made some changes based off of suggestions. Thinking of a good way to word that slays count once you serve it without adding a whole other sentence.

If you receive slays for RDM, you must remain on the server until all of your slays are served (you may leave once the round of your last slay has started) unless you receive permission from staff to leave.

If you receive slays for RDM, you must remain on the server until all of your slays are served unless you receive permission from staff to leave. Slays are considered to be served once the slay takes effect.

I can’t think of any way to make this shorter.

If this is also a rules discussion as opposed to just MOTD- I am once again asking the reasoning behind this, especially with regular players? Would it not serve a better punishment to be slain at the beginning of my next session as opposed to the end of this one? It doesn't evade the punishment.

I’m with you, and I advocated for a change a bit ago (I’ll try to find the thread later). The main reason is for the people that come on, RDM, and then leave right away. For regulars that need or want to leave, tho, all it takes is a message to staff and we’ll most likely let you go. The only reason I could see permission being denied is if someone is doing it excessively or if they have multiple slays.
