I can understand that you don't like the current scheme as it is annoying with your job to ask someone before you dc or have to send a message later to explain, but there is a reason that we are not constantly having to remove rdm and leave warns.
I think saying 2 point warns stacked up are equivalent in moral weight to a pedophile joke is a misunderstanding of the warn system. No one is being treated or significantly differently for having a two point warn (not to call him out but I think BG had like a 6 pointer ghosting or teaming warn when getting staff?), like they did 1/4th a pedophile joke or 1/5th a harassment. The system just identifies things that we want to happen less and ties a consequence to it. If you are not a problematic player who breaks other rules, I personally see no difference from a 2 point warn and a 0 point warn. Getting 4 rdm leave warns in a month is really hard, I actually don't know anyone who has done it. If you somehow manage that a day ban is not that big of a deal, and your points will reset when the warns expire giving that much more room before hitting the next threshold. For those counting at home that would take 7 rdm and leave warns.
Something else to think about is that if you avoid rdming (breaking a rule) you never have to worry about an rdm and leave warn. Yes I understand that almost everyone does regularly, but if it is something you are doing so often that you are worried constantly about having to leave with a report open on you maybe cut back a bit on the rdm itself.
If a guest leaves with a slay they will comeback and be slain the first round they are back. I think this is reminder enough from the previous play session and adding another slay in place of a warn will just make new players/guests that are fine not want to play.
On "accidental" things being tied to warns and bans. You can get indefinitely banned for "accidental" mass rdm (staff discretion for 2 weeks). If you accidentally leave your mic open enough times you can get warned and banned for mic spam. If you somehow "accidentally" say a slur or accidentally hit the wrong bind you still get warned. Lots of the appeals for pedophile jokes are saying that they accidentally broke the rule because they didn't know that making an Epstein joke was not allowed.
The accidental part is a factor of staff discretion and taken into consideration on appeal.
TLDR: I don't see this being a current problem that needs to be addressed. I apologize if the post seems a bit harsh, it really isn't that big of a deal one way or another and if the other admins disagree with me that's perfectly fine and we can change things up.
Asking someone to stay on a Gmod server just to not play the game because you think it's fair, when they have to get slain anyways when they come back, is peak Gmod Moderator brain lol
It's fair though and nobody is really asking you to stay if I have to be honest you can leave at any point it's on you IF you want to receive harsher punishment for it or not, plus it's really not that long if the game drags out it's 5/6mins if not then it can be less and before I forget by rdming someone you're basically doing the same to them.
