I've had a problem with gmod capping my framerate at 144fps for the past few days, but under very specific circumstances. I'll bullet it out:

• Only happens on Dinklebergs Prophunt
  
• Only happens in Borderless Windowed and Windowed
  
• FPS limit set to 5000
  
• V-Sync is off
  
• Has not been happening until yesterday
  
• The strangest one yet, when I begin recording in OBS, the framerate is UNCAPPED.
  

I've found that turning off G-SYNC fixed the problem, but that's not very ideal, I need mah frames. Not sure if anyone can help with this, but the most relevant thing I could find is a similar problem in CSGO that was solved by reinstalling Windows. Somewhat annoying.
