So keeping it short an simple.  Most players that have joined prop hunt would already have seen this message pop up "Type !forums to apply for staff, the minimum is 60 hours. Check out the community too!" and while it doesn't bother me, it could make players think they could become staff when in actuality its "85 Hours of Active Playtime on the Server" to start off as Trusted.  Perhaps before it was 60 hours but I ask for it to be update to what it is now to not cause confusion for new players that might start having interest for staff.

The PH messages on server have always bothered me, by sheer amount and often times the accuracy of them. However, this does require dink to update them.

Why do admins not have this perm already…… I sincerely doubt one of our admins would do something really dumb with it.

Could be wrong since i have not been here to long from what i heared was someone had powers back in the day and fucked it up so dink took em away and doesnt trust anyone to have them

the last time half of these were updated was when I was admin lol

there are wayyyy to many of them. The frequency needs to be set to like every 10 minutes and get rid of the crappy ones.
Better yet, consolidate a ton of them into the MOTD

I have messaged Dink about this many moons ago, it's a very minor thing in comparison to other things needing fixed.

I do agree that Admins should have the ability to edit these messages in their server.

Recently brought an idea to Dink regarding some solutions to various problems across all the servers. No word back from the Dinkleberg. (Reinstating a Co Owner per server, or a similar role to make minor adjustments to their server: edit messages, add/remove ranks, add/remove maps or items, etc)

Like triangle said, it isn't a huge deal but it should def be changed. Perhaps changed to not say the amount of hours you need since it can be updated due to certain situations such as needing more staff or having too much staff. It makes more sense to advertise that users can apply for staff using !forums instead of saying the hours you need. Also yes admins should have access to create & modify adverts. Getting the message out there is important. It's very useful.
