because his fellow admins (myself included) were still under the impression that you had lied about your age and advised him not to respond

To reply to this myself, I believe it was also late at night when you contacted me (2am on April 4th, days after I initially got admin if I recall), and when I looked up the name you were using and then found the ban and found it was a community ban and the context that was available at the time, I wanted no part of it.

I have decided to block you before the other admins chimed in, but they did reassure me that, it was at the time the best course of action for me do to.
