The first thing I said when I was going for forum staff was we were going to bring rep back everywhere. As a few of you may have noticed, after a bit of convincing our bosses, and them fighting off the ghosts of Web Admin's past, it's back! This will come with some stipulations. The only reason it's back is we have a web staff team that is highly communicative, and very invested in the forums, so part of the deal was that we'd be a lot more heavy-handed with enforcing the rep manipulation/abuse rules as it has been historically used to be pretty shitty to people, but I think the positives outweigh the negatives. 

Please, for the love of God, just don't abuse it. I'm just going to link the old post about it below from the last time it was brought back, have a look, the same rules apply now. If you have any questions about this change, this is the post to do it on.

let’s just remember that getting -1’d for terrible takes isn’t rep manipulation or harassment. and let’s not take it upon ourselves to remove an important feature of staff apps because your friends are getting -1’d for terrible takes and you want to protect them.
