As many TTT players know, we introduced new players models for our Summer 2021 update. One of those models, Spaceman, had some unexpected feedback regarding broken landing animations. Since this issue isn't easily resolvable because it has to do with how its animations work, Battons and I are in the process of removing the player model from the pointshop. Currently, the model is no longer for sale due to the issue but it remains useable for those who have purchased it. Beginning today, 6/10/21, we are offering a refund service for those who have purchased the model. On 7/10/21 we will be removing the model fully from pointshop which will result in the model being pulled from every player's inventory. We will be offering a full refund of 1000 Premium Points for those who have purchased the model. To ensure you are reimbursed for the model please follow the proper format. This process will only be applicable for only one Space Man Player Model.

Hello everyone! 11 months after the last discord update, here are some of the latest updates we have made to the discord server!
Before jumping into the latest discord updates, I want to ask for some community feedback. Please fill out this survey here. You can also DM me on discord for feedback or with any questions you may have.

1. Voice chats
We have added a text chat for voice chat users of the voice lounges! Now, whenever you join one of the voice lounges (General, Chill Zone, Theatre, Donor Lounge, and Staff Lounge), a text chat will become visible! These text chats will be available to allow those in a voice lounge who don't have a working microphone to participate in the discussion!
Same rules apply in these chats, no excessive shitposting, harassment, etc. in these channels.
The channels normally look like this:
 
When someone joins the lounge, however, the text chat will appear above the voice channel list!


2. Emojis added
Based on suggestions from our emoji suggestion thread, or DM'd to me on discord, we have uploaded some new emojis for the discord to enjoy! I hope to upload more on a regular basis.
If your suggested emoji wasn't uploaded this time, don't fear - more emojis will be added on a regular basis (including ones already suggested)! Keep suggesting new emojis to add in the emoji thread.
That being said, here are the latest emojis for you to check out:

3. Promotion of suicide/self-harm
In order to better comply with discord TOS, specifically guideline #9 of the commuity guidelines, as well as to avoid toxic discussions around this subject, the following actions were taken:
1. The voice chat "Suicide Booth" was removed.
2. The emojis :kms:, :hmm:, and :pocketnoose: were removed from the server. These emojis are borderline in violation of this guideline, and have been used in the past in toxic discussion that promoted self harm. These emojis will now be considered in violation of our rules for all future posts.
3. Future discussion in promotion of suicide will continue to be punished as a discord TOS violation, including the use of the three emojis that have been removed from the server.

Hi everyone,
As implied in the title, and as you may have heard, I have accepted the role of discord admin - making 6 (active) admins in the community.
I joined this community last summer, playing pretty much only TTT. I joined the discord as I became more involved in the community, and eventually applied to join the TTT staff team.
My desires at the time were just to assist as I could, help out with the occasional RDM report, etc. Make the server a better place with whatever little time I had to play.
As time went on, I became more involved with the discord. I wanted to help there, and somewhat inspired by @synthray, I applied to join the discord staff team as well.

I want to make the discord a better place for all parties involved. I want it to continue being a fun place to hang out, while keeping it a respectful place that anyone is welcome to join.
We recently reached level 3 nitro boosting status, which means we have high voice streaming quality, many more emoji slots, and a custom invite URL. I'm excited to see what we do next.

I want to thank Dink and the admin team for trusting me with this responsibility, and thank the discord staff team for all of their hard work - @"Noire", @B0T.ikillyou, @synthray, and @"[test]Ashley". I'm happy to have you all on board, and am excited to work with you moving forward.

I will provide regular updates on any changes made to the rules, features, policies, and operations of the discord. Whether these will be made in the forums, on the discord, or both is yet to be determined - but I want decisions made with full transparency and community input where possible.

Thanks to everyone who has been so welcoming to me in the past 8 or so months that I have been a part of this community. I look forward to serving Dinkleberg's GMod discord server in the future!
